It's so exciting to see the kitchen sink in place. The cabinetmakers had all kinds of problems with it. Apparently it was so heavy it snapped the first frame they made. Then the piping and duct-work that runs in the wall behind was at the exact height where they wanted to put their anchors. I don't mind that it took longer than expected because it looks really great. I hope we can use the shallower sink (the one on the right) for messy cutting-board prep (peeling vegetables, chopping tomatoes and other juicy fruit, etc.). It's big enough and high enough that it just might work.
