The daylilies arrived today at long last, looking vulnerable but cute. I got three kinds and planted all of them right away. 'Schnikel Fritz':
'All American Baby':
And 'Dust Bunny':
I also planted the Niagara grape vine, the Hibiscus moscheutos 'Blue River II', the clematis 'Isago' and the gorgeous variegated honeysuckle 'Mint Crisp'.
We've had a few days of cool temperatures in the 50s and misting rain, which I think the plants are enjoying. Watering the new additions this afternoon, I noticed that the Japanese hydrangea vine has some new little leaves, so hopefully it's finally settling in.
